This hub is the map for every The Defiant tutorial on the wiki. The game is still upcoming, so these pages collect what Hoothanes and 4Divinity have actually shown: a story-first FPS set in China’s War of Resistance, a four-chapter campaign, and a separate PvE co-op mode. Start with Getting Started if you only watched a trailer and need the facts in order.
What these guides cover
The how to play page explains the preview build’s gunplay: two firearms plus grenades, hitscan rifles, a blood-vignette health model, slide-into-cover movement, and the cinematic melee beats IGN recorded in the northeast mountains. It also flags what is still unfinished — no jump or vault in the shown build, crouch without prone, and a HUD that did not always show incoming fire.
The campaign overview walks through the four planned chapters and the way each soldier brings a different pace: guerrilla fighting in snow, rail sabotage, urban espionage, and large assaults. Characters are fictional; battles and locations are researched from real encounters. If you care about the spy chapter specifically, open Shanghai stealth next.
Co-op is not bolted onto the story. PvE co-op is a standalone mode aimed at four to eight players, with online and LAN options, using maps inspired by campaign spaces. The story itself stays a single-player, roughly fifteen-hour campaign.

What we will not invent
There is no public release date, no final PC CPU/GPU list, and no complete weapon roster. Steam still marks OS, processor, and graphics as TBD. This wiki will not fill those blanks with guesses. When a number is an estimate from a preview — campaign length, co-op player count, English dub plans — the page says so.
